The EcoLight Sport Trailer, when bundled with a Malone carrier system, provides an excellent choice for safe and affordable kayak transport. We offer a selection of four different trailer/carrier packages to carry one, two or four kayaks. The MPG586XJ EcoLight Package is designed to carry two medium sized touring or recreational kayaks. Each trailer comes with two sets of J-style kayak carriers that work best with traditional V-style hulls. Each unit is DOT and Transport Canada certified and proudly built in the USA for years of dependable use. Provides safe travel up to a maximum of 65 mph while transporting loads up to 400 lb. Features a reinforced extra-long tongue, 58 in. wide steel load bars, molded fenders, 8 in. high-speed tires and a 2 in. receiver with lift handle. All parts and workmanship are guaranteed with a Five Year Limited Warranty. Assembles in 3-5 hours with common shop tools. Detailed assembly instructions are included.

Great trailer

J-hooks are a little flimsy with two ss107 Bonafide yaks on them. But the trailer is easy to put together and tows well. Definitely would purchase another one 8f needed.

Purchased this product for my two Hobie fishing kayaks. The V-style carrier option was too small, so after many emails, I received the J-style racks. The red straps they send with this product do not fit around the kayaks as they show unless you have a very small kayak. I used typical tie-downs. The J-style holders needed a pool foam noodle on top of them to prevent the metal bar from punching a hole in the bottom of my kayak. Watch the online videos because they do help with assembly, but it is a tedious process. I'd recommend this product if you are looking for a cheap option to pull two kayaks without having to load them on top of your vehicle's roof. I have a 5th wheel hitch in the bed of my truck, so I'm not able to transport my kayaks that way.
