The Magpul QDM is a heavy-duty upgrade to standard push-button quick detach sling swivels. The innovative design fits all standard sized QD cups and allows for a lower profile sling swivel that offers one-handed manipulation, a high strength bale that rotates freely, canalizes sling webbing to prevent rollover, and superior resistance to corrosion with a QPQ salt bath nitride finish. Dual side release tabs prevent accidental release. Quick-disconnect sling swivel for 1-1/4" webbing. Combine with MS1® Sling for dedicated two-point sling, or with MS1® MS4® Adapter for two to one-point convertible sling. Made in the USA.

Tough as nails

Extremely tough & super easy to use. All steel construction shrugs off pretty much any abuse you can put it through. Hands down one if the best sling mounts ive ever used.

Great Option Vs. Traditional QD Swivels

I have Magpuls MS4 Sling that already has #2 of these QDM swivels and using it multiple times I've never had any issues with them not working or pulling out of QD socket. Great build quality and design. I wish they made these in a smaller version for just 1" sling webbing. Reason I gave 4 star and not 5 is these can be hard to release depending where their inserted. If I use these in my QD endplate their almost impossible to get to release, but on side of handguard or in the butt stock they work great.

I purchased two MS4 slings with the QDM connectors. I can barely get them to insert on SB Tactical braces, they WILL NOT WORK on any chinese manufactured qd mounts. The tolerances seem to be off a little. Off just enough to frustrate me and have to order more crap that I wasn't looking to spend money on. The mounts are also a pain in the butt, especially on a mount behind a castle nut. They look cool, but do yourself a favor and just get the regular top-mounted push-button QD connector. I could go on but I think Magpul is starting to get the point that these were a very bad idea...

No, I do not recommend this product.
