Not sure why this is so long?

Not sure they sent the right one? The shirt is longer than the others I own. Is it possible they sent an XL long? There is no indication on the shirt tag, but it's clearly longer than the others I wear.

Great shirt, but as Carhartt shirts go, it's not my favorite.

The shirt developed a covering of fuzz after the first wash. Never experienced that with any previous Carhartt shirts. It may have been a result of the stuff it was washed with, but not sure what that was. It's not terrible, just a rare development. The fit and appearance are typical Carhartt excellent.
