- Kit includes reinforcements for all three trusses in a 10 x 8 foot shed.
- Trusses not compatible with our 8' Garden style sheds (with door in the long side of the shed, it will not fit the middle Truss in the shed)
- Note: the following are the amount of trusses in each of our 8' Shed models so that you will know how many snow load kits you need for your shed: 8 x 5' -- 1 truss, 8 x 7.5 -- 2 trusses, 8 x 10 -- 3 trusses, 8 x 12.5 -- 4 trusses, 8 x 15 -- 5 trusses

We live in an area that can get a foot of snow or more in a storm, so we chose to add this kit. It seems very sturdy and has worked with a 5-inch snow load so far.

20 x 8 Shed and Snow Load Kit

I like the shed and it has a lot of great features. I did not get to use it however for four months, which is why the review is here for both, (since the review for the shed timed out).
It appears that since I have a back injury and needed a contractor to set pavers for the foundation and assemble the shed; it was extremely difficult to to find a contractor to complete the job. The third one finally did so, but not without complaining about the problems inherent to the huge instruction manual and the inability to properly identify hardware from the manual and pictures included.
Also, I did not like the experience with the Snow Load Kit. If it is determined it is needed for the weight of the snow, then it should have been included especially in snowy upper states. The fact that it is an identified need, should also have required the mounting holes should have come pre-drilled for the mounting screws.
The only other major concern is the doors seem to be hard to move already around the pivot points, and the floor and shed are completely level. Hope this does not become an issue soon.
