Great set for kids but will not outlast them

The playset is excellent for kids however, big caveat - it will rust. We had the playset for several years now and it's starting to rust and fell apart. See photos. Glad was able to find the rust before kids went on the slide deck. A little disappointment that metal has rusted, Lifetime may need to research replacing those parts with aluminium or material that can withstand elements of nature. Still giving 3 stars as there are no other comparable products on the market.

Earlier versions of our playsets were built with non-galvanized, powder-coated steel, but we’ve since upgraded to galvanized steel for significantly improved rust resistance and long-term durability. This playset is very well made. Pretty easy to put together. The only down side is there need to be handles on the inside bars as you climb ladder to slide
