Shrunk When Washed

Item fit perfect when I tried them on in the store. Bought a 34x32 and fit true to size initially. One the first wash and dry, the shrunk so bad I could not even wear them anymore. It looked like they shrunk to a 32x28 after the fact. Luckily I was able to return them and purchase a different brand. I was told that they no longer make in the US and now produced in China and this has now become a problem.
