Kurgo Cascade Dog Harness

This is “paws” down one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for my dog! We recently took a road trip to Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado. Hiking trails were part of that trip; so I knew my BT, Redmon, would need a light and reliable backpack. I’m so glad I found the Kurgo Cascade Harness. It was perfect for the exploring we had lined up. From the Cadillac Ranch in TX, to Pike’s Peak in CO; this backpack harness was perfect for light travel. Mom or Dad carried the heavy stuff, while Redmon carried his treats, water bowl, and poop bags. Very sturdy harness; very well made; fit him comfortably and securely. Redmon is 29 pounds and wore a size small harness. If I had to find a downside to the harness, I wish there were more room in the pockets. Because of the way it’s made, the pockets are a little narrow. The round collapsible water bowl wouldn’t fit in the zipper pockets. It’s ok though, because the bowl clipped perfectly to the harness.

This is an absolute 10 out of 10. I am so thrilled and my dog is as well. This backpack fits her perfectly and honestly, she looks like a little turtle and it melts my heart. The pockets are so functional and I love that they have a weatherproof liner so that liquids or unidentifiable information stays put.

I have been through multiple harnesses over the years, with multiple dogs. I have always been disappointed with them in one way or another. They’re either too big, too small, cheaply made and tear easily, too hot, or poorly designed. But the Kurgo Cascade Pack is none of those things! In fact, it’s the complete opposite! I received a small, which I was skeptical would fit my slightly overweight beagle. Come to find out, it adjusts well in just the right places and actually fits him perfectly. It’s surprisingly very durable. I can’t see my beagle destroying this one very easily, if at all. It has POCKETS! In all of the right places! Why hasn’t anybody ever thought of that before? It even has a pocket for your poop bags, so you have no excuse not to pick up after your pup. There are two options for the leash: on top and at the chest. It’s brightly colored and reflective, and made with durable and breathable mesh. And those pockets!! There is one zippered pocket on each side to fit your keys in or whatever else, plus each side can zip open separately to expand the pocket area in case you need more room. Then there’s the poop bag pocket in the back, with an attached handle to keep your pup still while you grab a bag. What a perfectly amazing idea! While I did receive this product in exchange for my unbiased review, I can assure you that this is 100% my own and honest opinion on the product. This is something I would absolutely recommend to dog owners everywhere!

This is genius & so convenient! I never use typical collars/leashes, I feel that harnesses are safer & way more comfortable for animals. But I had no idea one like this existed! Can stash some treats in there as well as wipes and doggie waste bags
