Gun rack great, mountin, not so much.

I really like the convenience of the gun rack, the issue I had is the mounting. The gun rack mounts by pressure against the ROPS tubing, the tubing is painted and very smooth and the rubber covering the ends of the gun rack are also very smooth. When I first installed and my wife and I were in the UTV, without a gun in the rack, one of the mounts fell and hit my wife in the head, these racks are very heavy. I had to remove the racks and put heavy duty double sided tape at the locations of the mounts to keep this from happening again. I do not think this is a permanent solution, but I have not come up with the solution at this time.

Good construction. Does not fix Axis 500 from Lowe's, maybe with modification it would. I'll be returning it.
