Caution Not Like the Old Plastic Coated Lines
13 years ago
You would think when unwrapped you could use it. Doing that and it will sag without clothes on it.
When you look at each end there is no cord within the plastic. We cut it back a few inches at a time; still no cord. At approximate 4 feet we found liner strings. We had a second line and upon opening there was no cord within each end. We had to cut 4 feet off each end of that also, for a total of an 8 foot loss in each package, 16 ft total. With the heat this last week it is sagging a lot. Time will tell if this line is worth it’s price. So far it is uncertain.
Before you hang this line cut it back to you see the core and tie a knot at each end to keep it in place, hopefully it will last a few years.
Our old line was very OLD, and on the pole when we moved in 11 years ago, we use it all the time when possible.
Time will tell…
No, I do not recommend this product.
