I’m going to try this on my bay to reduce sun fading and keep his tail tidy. I’ve never used a tail bag but this looks easy. Kensington products are always quality.

I like the substantial feel of these, they won't break down anytime soon! I like that they are long with the tassels, to really help "replace" the tail for swishing at flies. Good tailbag!

I am very happy with the quality of the Kensington Tail Cover.  It is long enough for a large horse and has held very well in the braid.  I would recommend this product.

Each of my horses has one on all year round and I replace them maybe every other year. Durable, nice looking and most importantly they keep the tails looking good with little effort. I braid the tails once a week, spray them with leave-in conditioner then fasten a bag over the braided tail. The tails stay intact and a week later look just as good as the day I braided them. I highly recommend these! The picture I uploaded shows how well my horses tail looks after such little effort and the protection of these bags. It's all his own tail, no extentions and touches the ground.
