KBS Bed Liner is a tough, flexible, thick black protective coating designed to protect truck beds, trailers, and equipment against corrosion and abrasion. It withstands impacts, improves traction, and delivers a durable satin finish that resists nicks, chips, and scratches. KBS Bed Liner is easy to apply by roller, brush, or spray gun and requires no complicated mixing. It adheres to wood, metal, asphalt, concrete, aluminum, rubber, fiberglass, and most hard plastics including PVC, and it provides sound deadening, impact absorption, and chemical resistance. One gallon covers up to 250 square feet. KBS Bed Liner is proudly made in the USA.For best results, apply KBS Bed Liner to a clean, dry surface. Scuff the truck bed with medium grit sandpaper or a scouring pad, blow out dust with clean air, then wash with KBS Klean mixed 5 parts hot water to 1 part KBS Klean and allow to dry thoroughly. For the ultimate rust protection, treat any bare metal with RustSeal first as part of the KBS 3 Step Rust Prevention System. Mix the product with a drill mixer before use. Thinning is not recommended. Apply 2 to 3 coats at temperatures between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit, using a 3 inch rough foam roller or a Shutz style or HVLP spray gun held 18 to 24 inches from the surface. Wait 8 to 10 hours before stepping on the surface and allow 72 hours for full cure before placing objects on it. Clean up with KBS Number 1 Thinner, xylene, or acetone.
