poorly built

Hammer head is held on just by brittle resin, not a proper wedge. Head flew off mine during appropriate usage, could have resulted in damage or injuries. Not recommended.

head flew off handle, could have been very dangerous. they didn't make it with a wedge to hold the head on securely, it is just brittle resin holding it in place. I contacted them and they would not honor the lifetime guarantee because I didn't hold onto the receipt. GARBAGE PRODUCT!

Absolute garbage!

The head flew off the handle while in use. The head is not held on by a proper wedge, instead it is just brittle resin holding it in place. This is dangerous and negligent, to say the least. I still had the tag which said it had a lifetime guarantee, so I contacted them.... after about three weeks of 'escalation' they judged that they wouldn't do anything because I no longer had my receipt. Who holds on to to a receipt for years? Nobody, and they know this. This is a garbage hammer.

This seems like a great hammer for the price. More importantly, the people I worked with at the local TSC here in Durango CO were excellent!
