Q: I just bought one of these to use at an outdoor fall festival. I read the label when I got it home and am extremely worried about the warning that it can emit lead. How do you safeguard against this? I guess I should have asked for a Coleman.

- A: Per California Law, Lead warning is added to the package. Please don't be quite worry about microscale lead hurting people health. This product is manufactured with qualified material. It's ok to pack the product into protective bag after use4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Where do I install the D batteries. I screwed off the bottom lid. NO SPACE 4 THE BATTERIES WE HAVE A WINTER STORM COMING IN SOON. THE JOBS MARY CAMPING LANTERN L17-118424LED 80 LUMENS

These lanterns are duds!

I bought one yesterday along with an 8-pack of Energizer D cells. Got it home and carefully installed batteries. NOTHING. Rechecked to be sure battery polarity was correct. Still would not work. Very frustrating as I was needed it for light while installing and pouring gasoline into a generator.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought several of these 3 years ago and they worked very well. However, when I took them out of storage recently, they had become intermittent and then failed. New batteries didn't help. No apparent damage from the old batteries.
