The true helical cutterhead uses 30 individually indexed carbide inserts that shear the wood fibers for a cleaner surface, quieter operation, and extended edge life. Each insert can be rotated or replaced as needed to maintain consistent results. A 2HP, 115 volt motor drives the cutterhead at 9,500 RPM, delivering smooth, controlled cuts on standard household power. Additional features include folding infeed and outfeed tables for improved material support, a depth stop preset for fast repeatable setups, a 2-1/2 inch and 4 inch dust collection port.
