This Jameson 1000V Insulated Cable Cutter provides maximum electrical protection and is suitable for working live or close to live parts at nominal voltages up to 1,000 Volts. Constructed using heavy-duty injection molded Nylon 11; they are ideal for use in a wide variety of utility, electrical, and telecommunication applications. The 8 in. Cable Cutters are suitable for cutting Al/Cu conductors up to 1 AWG (50 mm2) Stranded and 4 AWG (25 mm2) Solid.

Failure to cut

5 years ago
Not worth the money, about them to cut some small cable that was on my front porch some that's been out there for years I had the hardest time cutting I took the smallest piece of cable and it cut it back but as the cable got a little bit bigger it wouldn't cut nothing so this is good for small electrical things in your house but not anything bigger than that
