While researching, I found that a deep-cycle battery, like the TS/IB-24MDP, can be used in a solar system. However, you'll need to connect it to the charge controller and not directly to the solar panels. Please revert to the battery specifications on the solar panel and inverter for a better solution as the most common and recommended battery types are lithium-ion (especially lithium iron phosphate or LFP). Q: Would this be good for a soft wash pump that will continually run while in use? Its rated 12v 20amp max. Everything says marine deep cycle but no specific make or model is suggested.
