The Hobart Electrode Holder features solid brass spring-loaded jaws that accept rods up to 5/16 in. diameter. To easily remove or replace rods, give the handle of the electrode holder a quarter turn. This electrode holder can be used for applications up to 400 Amps. The dimensions of the electrode holder are 4.5 in. W x 2.75 in. H x 12.25 in. L.

Works well. I haven't had any issues with it at all. Not as convenient as a spring loaded stinger but feels great in hand and serves it's purpose
