The Hobart Cable Connector provides a secure connection between No. 4 and No. 1 cables. The cable connector is made from solid brass and won't slip or disconnect when the cable is pulled. The hard rubber sheath of the cable connector insulates the connection. To use the cable connector, simply give a quarter turn to make a strong connection.

Q: Is this connector compatible with a dinse style connector

  • A: Hello, thank you for your question. This is a camlock‑style cable connector made to join No. 4 to No. 1 welding cable with a quarter‑turn connection. It is not a Dinse‑type connector and will not mate directly with standard Dinse twist‑lock welding cable plugs without a specific adapter.
