I bought a pack of these and it worked just as well as the national brand I usually use. I set my 50 year old Miller Thunderbolt 225 to just over 70 Amps. I struck an arc and ran a bead with no difficulty. I do not know what happened when the previous reviewer tried them, but I had no problems.

I bought these rods and could not get them to work. I had a previous batch from another brand and was welding away, these would just stick to the work and wouldn't hold an arc. Also bought their 1/8 sticks and same problem. Not my machine as it was working moments before with good rods. Don't waste your time with these.
