Worthless warranty

These work OK until they dont. Then you are on your own regardless of any extended warranty that you may have purchased. For just a little more money you can get yourself a Polaris unit which is far superior in every possible way. Be warned! Stay away from these cheap, disposable knockoffs.

Having problems

So purchased the gray and black viper 550, took it home a drove it for about 9 hours with no issues. Then it started making a loud grinding noise in all gears. The guys at tractor supply were great, brought it back and they loaded #2. Same UTV got it home drove it with no issues for 8.5 hours then put it in L range and heard a very loud gear grinding noise. Call the guys back and returned number #2. We really liked the viper, it had half doors, it was easy to start, comfortable and felt safe. If they could fix the shifting noise and issues this would be a great mid-size UTV. Trying a different brand. Tractor Supply is great, they didn’t think twice about standing behind their products. These guys get a 5 star review from me.

so far so good, one issue with loose battery cable, no power, issue resolved after tightening battery cable. viper seems to have plenty of power and runs well after filling with 91 octane fuel. transitioned from golf cart to viper, golf cart is quieter but viper is more useful.
