I started my boys on this food because one of them needed to slim down. I started this food in December 2025 when Sunny was 18# (DSH - NM - 9yr) and now Sunny is down to about 13#. All 4 boys love this food though!

Excellent Food for Obese Cats

I started feeding Hill's Adult Perfect Weight Cat Food after I adopted an obese cat. He lost weight and once he got to an appropriate weight, I kept him on the same food to maintain it. I've had additional overweight cats and Hill's Adult Perfect Weight Cat Food is my go-to food to lose and maintain a healthy weight.

My cat LOVES this stuff and the stew in the packet. I don't understand the feeding chart. For 16 lbs how much should I feed per day? It says 4, 4 what?

The feeding amount listed for weight loss for a 16 pound cat eating only this product would be 4 of the 2.9 ounce cans a day total. Please note that this feeding amount is intended only as a starting point. It's critical to your pet's health that his or her physical condition be monitored regularly and the feeding amount adjusted as needed.
