This Hi-Lux Optics M-14/M1A Steel Mount with Windage Adjustment is based on 37 years of experience mounting scopes on the M14 rifle. The inconsistent dimensions on both the original M14s and the later M1As make dependable scope mounting a challenge. The M14/M1A mount is designed to compensate for these problems. All of the recoil loading is taken by the clip guide, so the forces are parallel to the gun axis. This mount also has built in windage adjustment. The steel mount is sufficiently low enough to allow the use of battle sight zero on the iron sights. This M14/M1A mount is CNC machined from hardened steel.
