I purchased this unit, and placed it in a Restaurant kitchen that averages a 105 degrees. It's so hot in the kitchen the air cooled ice machine, doesn't produce ice. This unit will cause temp to drop about 10 degrees, if you operate it on high fan and pump setting. The unit can be connected to a water hose, or filled manually . In the heat of the day, with deep fryers running, 2 grills running, and oven, it is miserablely hot, so we add ice to water. The air is cool, and makes it tolerable. The Cooks can definitely tell a difference. At night, the ice machine will make ice, with this unit running . I purchased in May, and it runs 24/7 . Alabama has hot summers, and no problems with this unit at all. I do clean and rinse filters 2x a week, due to grease produced in the kitchen. It is quiet, very well made, easy to setup. I highly recommend. I looked at many units, and the square footage, and price was the best I found. People told me that it would not work and that it was no more than a fan, but not true. 95 degree's in a hot commercial Kitchen is better than 105 degrees. When our heat index outside is over 3 digit's, our kitchen is bearable, and when temp outside is in the 80 degree range the kitchen is cool. My only regret is that I didn't purchase this unit along time ago.

I’ve added the water and it’s been running for about 3 hours. The air is room temp coming from the unit and I am hotter with it on than I am with it off. If anyone has some suggestions please by all means send them this way thanks
