Heritage Stable Work Glove

These are my new go-to work gloves for home and the barn! They are lightweight and thin, yet durable, making them excellent work gloves. I love that they aren't super bulky, it feels like I am using my hands, just with added protection. They have held up to hours of barn chores, from mucking stalls to fixing fences, as well as home chores like weeding and mowing the lawn. Another added bonus- the bright yellow color makes it easy to identify any ticks or other pests when I am running hand over my horses and dog. I ordered a size 7 based on the measurement directions on the product page and the gloves fit perfectly. I highly recommend these gloves if you are looking for something lightweight and durable!

Great fit, think they are true to size - but not baggy or too thick. Nice for regular barn chores and tough enough they won’t fall apart. I’m super picky about gloves because I hate having bulky gloves you can’t work in, but hate having to toss them out because they don’t hold up - these are really nice! You could also ride in them if needed!

I used to own a pair of these that lasted over two years of heavy barn work before they finally wore out the fingertips. I ordered a new pair to replace them and they were broken through the fingers with light chores in a month but more importantly the seams were coming undone on the palm within days, contacting Heritage was a dead end. Got a new replacement pair and they also unstitched within a month. I was never a fan of the fit of SSG because my fingers are longer but they have lasted longer so far. Very disappointed because the original pair was very comfortable and tough.

Overall I LOVE these gloves. They are very comfortable wearing and once they've broken in (doesnt take long) they really mold to your hand and feel amazing. They are sturdy and well suited to light to moderate barn chores (cleaning stalls etc). I bought these gloves right before hay season and after bringing in 25 tons of hay and building several miles of fence this summer the fingers started wearing out (photo). Now barely 6 months after purchasing pretty much every finger has worn out and these gloves are toast. However, recognizing that I worked these gloves hard this summer I am going to buy another pair and see if they last a year at least with less rigorous use. I really love how these gloves feel and at the price point I would be willing to replace annually, but not every 6 months. Finally - I took the suggestion of other reviewers and ordered a size up from normal. They fit perfect so I also organize ordering one size up! Overall, awesome and comfortable glove for "normal" barn chores.
