Its cut kinda small. I’m usually a lg or xl but i bought a xxl for the same fit. Its also not the warmest. Yes I have enough room to layer under it but its not parka

So far been a good coat ,warm enough when i layer up like i normally do and seems pretty tough and has repelled water, oil etc.

Helly Hanson Alta Insulated Jacket is A OK

THe Helly Hansen Alta jacket is well made, well thought out with the exception of the pockets (useless) and zipper (no very durable). The jacket is warm, roomy and comfortable with the sleeves and body long enough to accommodate a tall persons longer torso and arms. The hood is fine and has a snorkel drawstring and Velcro adjustment on top. I would say the jacket runs true to size but some may find the sleeves long if you are of average stature.
Yes, I recommend this product.
