good product but need some help

I like the steps themselves but the buckel to tighten and hold the steps on the trees is terriable, I replaced it with a ratchet binder and now they work great.

I just bought these to help with saddle hunting but they will not grip the tree good enough they keep wanting to roll and not grip every time they roll I smack my knees and face on the tree very unreliable product I’m gonna spend the extra dollar and go buy something that will actual work. They come as 4 but I have to double them up just to be barely able to stand on them. I’m selling asap or probably save someone the hassle and throw them away my life is at risk just trying to use them. I’ve tried everything with these seriously save your money your life depends on it
