Short Life

Yes, it was easy to install. It worked great until it didn't open yesterday morning after 49 days. Batteries were indicated as low so I replaced them. Still it does not open when I press the up button. It closes okay but just makes a clink-clink sound as it attempts to open.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Disappointing Design

Let’s start with the positives, it was incredibly easy to install and set up times for the door to open and shut. Unfortunately after 40 days it quit working… Even though the specifications say the product is waterproof, it quit shortly after the second rain we received. I opened it up dried it off and closed it back up with new batteries but nothing works. Really disappointed as I had high hopes.

Horrible , very thin, slightest sand/dirt around the door, and it jams. I purchased it so my chickens and ducks can get out of coop by a certain time in the morning due to my early morning job.
