  • A: Hi Neighbor! You should only bathe your dog after the dip has had sufficient time to remain on the skin. The product needs to stay on for several days to be effective, as bathing will remove it and may require reapplication after a few weeks.

  • A: Hi Neighbor! You should not use Happy Jack Kennel Dip on a dog that has worn a Seresto collar without first consulting your veterinarian. Both products are potent insecticides with different active ingredients that can lead to a toxic chemical overdose if combined or used too closely together. For the safety of your pet, please consult your veterinarian.

Very Impressed!

I live with my boyfriend's family and they have a couple acres with about 8 dogs, one is mine, and 5 are outside and only receive shots, so they were lacking flea medication. One poor little guy had also lost a lot of his hair on his legs and we were thinking he might have mange. So, being the dog expert of the house, I looked online for a product that would cover that spectrum and found this. I was hoping for a review on it but did not see any, so after looking at the ingredients (which im familiar with as I treat my dog with advantix) I thought I'd give it a try. We got a 3 1/2 gallon bucket and mixed the solution like it said (I used a bit more actually 60ml to the full 3 1/2gal.), dipped all the little dogs in it (4/5 are small) up to their head. It seemed to knock a few fleas off at first, we didn't rinse them. We put the first one we thought might have mange in a crate and WOW after about 30 minutes you could just see the crazy amount of dead fleas just all around his feet. His brother was dipped and then clipped immediately following and the same happened with him. I don't know about if it works for the full 30 days like it says or not as it hasn't been that long and I treated them all with a bit of advantix as well to try to help. The initial though was crazy so I have faith that it would work. I also liked it because we could dip all the dogs without having to change the solution, which really saves money. This product is definitely worth the buy!

Very upset

I've been dealing with mites for over a month now. Trying to avoid a vet bill I bought Happy Jack over 2 wks ago. I wash all bedding EVERY DAY in nothing but high heat, sprayed inside the house and even sprayed my entire fenced in yard. The 1st wk was good, but by the end of it my dog was itching like crazy, and I was getting bit again. Pushed it to 2 wks like the instructions said and thoroughly dipped him again but by the 3rd day it's happening all over again...

Awesome results - read the label and use your head

We use it as a premises spray in our dog's areas and as a protective spray on our clothes when hunting or otherwise afield. Works perfectly. Have also used as a dip for an infestation and it was excellent. This is a concentrate that shouldn't be used full strength. Additionally, it alone is not a fix all. You must treat your yard, all areas the dog(s) frequent, and the animal itself. We used as a dip once per week until we broke the flea lifecycle. One week appears to be it's most effective timeframe. I use a soresto collar on the pups and the dip for treating areas. Read the label!!! Don't use on young, senior, or ill animals, and mix as directed and you won't have a problem.

Yes, I recommend this product.
