Q: Is this supposed to have a strainer on the pickup tube? Mine doesn't have one and I am constantly having to stop and clean the nozzle. I don't see a strainer in the assembly instructions. Mine was already assembled when I picked it up.

The handle to carry will not stay lockedin place after only one use. I'm forced to carry it with the handle fully extended as a result.

I used this for the first time today. Assembly was easy and intuitive. The tank itself is well made. The pump assembly is another story. The shaft between the handle and the pump flexes and you have to be very careful not to bend it. The biggest problem is the plastic clipping mechanism that holds the pump handle in. It's weak and the handle will come undone as you carry it, dropping the tank to the full length of the pump shaft. It's a real shame, because otherwise it's a great sprayer with plenty of pressure and a nice nozzle and pattern. I think you can do better for the money. I regret buying it because I might get one or two more uses out of it before the pump handle won't stay locked.

Worst sprayer I have ever had. Only worked for one hour then release valve for the wand continuously is opened. It will not stop spaying no matter what you do to the wand valve adjustment. Dangerous if you don’t realize it while walking to your next spot to spray. Your yard or leg could be coated quickly.

Sprayer leaks and doesn’t seal pressure

This sprayer worked for about an hour. Air eventually started to leak through the gasket at the trigger and no matter how I repositioned the gasket/spring or tightened its screw-down cover it would leak. This lead to the sprayer constantly dribbling fluid from the spray nozzle and the only way to make it stop was by depressurizing the entire tank. Spraying with it in this state was impossible as the pressure would constantly escape. It was immediately returned to the store. Avoid this sprayer.
No, I do not recommend this product.
