For those who need to supply a high volume of water over a large area such as a farm, construction site or stretch of landscape, Swan's GroundWork Pro Series hose has several features that make it the ideal hose for both construction and agricultural needs, from cleaning debris off a worksite to watering trees. This hose features an excellent 400+ PSI burst strength, powerful enough to handle the high water pressure necessary for extreme work conditions. To prevent this high-volume water hose from bursting, we've added heavyweight reinforcement at key areas for maximum durability. Another main feature is the hose's octagonal shape that makes it highly kink-resistant, along with our patented Hose Armour at the female coupling to prevent kinking at the water source. Its red color, meanwhile, allows this commercial water hose to stand out at the worksite to reduce the chances of being tripped or run over. To make this heavy-duty Pro Series hose even more resilient, we've added extra-large aluminum couplings that are damage-resistant if run over by heavy equipment, as well as an oversized female coupling that connects to the water source without a wrench or other tools. The hose is available as both a 5/8-inch garden hose and as a 3/4-inch garden hose, with the extra-large 3/4-inch water hose moving 20 percent more water. It's also lead-free and compliant with California's strict phthalate-content standards. Our limited lifetime warranty ensures that this heavy-duty contractor-grade water hose is a good investment, serving as a reliable tool on the job site for many years.

Too heavy, too stiff, forms kinks quickly

This hose was a waste of money. While it certainly seems sturdy, it is far too stiff and difficult to use in cold temperatures (i.e. 35 and below). The nozzle end has a stiff bend in it that I can't straighten out. It is too heavy to carry in and out of the house, so when we had a cold snap, I just switched to a lightweight hose. Temperatures warmed up and I decided to bring it back out again, and it developed a permanent kink after only a couple of uses. I would expect a hose labeled "farm and ranch" to perform well in cold temperatures for year-round use, I am very disappointed.

Best hose I've researched and buy!

By far, the best constructed hose I've seen. I've read complaints about it kinking. It's a new hose and it comes coiled. This is what I do; Unravel the hose so it's not going to bind up. Hook the hose to your spigot or another hose, so it's able to be unraveled. Start from where it's hooked and walk backwards as your twisting it, it will lay flat in front of yoy as you proceed backwards. By the way, this is what needs to be done with every hose. Lastly, the fittings on this hose are bigger and tighter than any other hose. It's built properly.

Expensive JUNK!!!!!!!!!

Bought two of these. Left them in the garage for a few weeks then untied them. Both were so full of kinks the water barely if at all flows. For an expensive hose these are JUNK! They wouldn’t take them back because it had been more than 30 days past purchase. Very disappointed! They say they are guaranteed that’s bull!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Disappointed with quality

Disappointed with this hose. It constantly crimps, not in one location but several. The weight and feel of the hose is definitely high quality and the brass fittings seems good. The problem comes when you are trying to send water through the hose and you see it collapsing and crimping left and right. For something that is considered a “farm hose” it fails in occasional house work. Very surprised given Tractor Supply’s reputation.

Good hose, smells funky

I found this house to be unkinkable. And I drag it all the way across the property and back with no problem. It is heavy and heavy duty. My only complaint is the odor and foaming. Even after running water through it for several minutes, it's still smelly and foamy. I wonder if it is safe for fruits and vegetables to be eaten after use.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not for ranch work at all

Bought 2. Kinked all over the place, 20 holes in it after a few winter months. Not heavy duty at all, just cracks and breaks, not for ranch work. Might work for a little garden, if you bring it inside after each use.

Good heavy duty hose

This is a good heavy hose for running to our water trough, but I was disappointed that it collapsed near the connector. Since it didn't have a sleeve to strengthen or protect the bend, I had to buy a 90 degree adapter to attach it.

Keep the receipt

Buy something else

I only bought it as it was what I could afford as my 15 year old hose was worn out. The only farm this hose should see is a prison farm. Can not get it to un kink even after having it out in the sun. It will be gone after this year and off to the land fill where it won't bother me anymore. Frankie's Dad

Don’t do it

1st one I got home had hundreds of air bubbles in the outer coating was returned as defective unopened. 2nd one is when I realized I’d made a bad purchase but really needed a hose at the time. I’m on my second season with this hose and I still feel the same I hate it. Way to stiff, kinks way to easy, absolutely terrible to roll up and the swivel doesn’t work adding to my hatred.

Flaccid.

It looks nice but its terrible. It kinks very easily under it's own weight when it's not under pressure. It's also very heavy. They could have made the hose material a bit more rigid so it doesn't kink so bad. The only thing worth a flip are the fittings. I have had it for a year. I don't recommend it.

Very durable but also very stiff to handle.

I give the construction of the hose five stars. However, the hose is so stiff and the end still tightly curled even after leaving it out in the hot sun in hopes of straightening it out, I find it difficult to use. Durability is great, but I guess not really meant for putting a hand nozzle on for use.

Farm & Ranch Heavy Duty Garden Hose

Unpacked the hose from the banding, went to stretch it out, kinked in 3 places before I got it uncoiled. Flimsy hose, definitely NOT heavy duty as the description says. Didn't even try to use it. Read the reviews, most said it was good. I wrapped it up and took in back for a refund. I'dI be embarassed to sell this!
