Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solidly Built Does any math genius know how to set this to deliver 1tbsp per gallon? Apparently TSC thinks Americans need spray bottles that print only in millileters. Duh. We use gallons, quarts, etc. and their conversion chart is little help since it tells you how many ml per liter, measurements that non scientists DO NOT USE. The unit itself seems well built and sturdy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Do a bucket test I got the following results from a bucket test setting (number closest to exit nozzle) flow rate 1--80mL/gallon 2--100mL/gallon 3--120mL/gallon 4--140mL/gallon 5--160mL/gallon 6--180mL/gallon 7--60mL/gallon 10--70mL/gallon I don't know why 7 and 10 were lower. I may have possibly gotten a bad dial but the output is consistent and I can do my calculations now. Like others have said, More instructions would be helpful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality affordable metered sprayer This sprayer is good quality affordable and a plus that it can be picked up locally. I saw that there was some confusion on the metric measurements, but as I suspected from experience with an identical product, TSC confirmed in the Q&A section that the metered increments are 1 Tbsp. /Gal which I confirmed with my own bucket test. The increments on the bottle are by ML, but if you’re relying on those hash marks for your dilution rate you really have no business dispensing pesticides or fertilizers. Measure your product before you pour it into the sprayer and set your dispensing rate based on that. Really, if you want to get accuracy out of this type of sprayer the material needs to have a viscosity rather close to water so you will most likely be pre mixing it. Also the extra orifice screwed into the dial can be slipped into the feed tube to reduce the dispensing rate to 1 Tsp. /Gal. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is in fact the lack of instructions. The bottle has directions, but doesn't give you the dispensing rate in Metric or SAE. For the average Joe who just picked it up in the store and didn't read the Q&A online it could be quite frustrating. Otherwise it's a great product and tractor Supply was prompt in their response to the increments which I hope helps others in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dilution Conversion Needed The concentration is in milliliters per liter. It should also list the conversion to English units as well. The conversion factor per my calculations is approximately 1 fl oz / gal = 8 ml / L.

Applications are designed for metric system. But have to convert to silly imperial system for the US customer. Every wonder why the application rate is a strange 3.2 oz/gal or similar. Because 3.2 oz is 100 ml. Most round 4 liters to 1 gal.

Why are you selling a product in the USA that is metered in liters for the metric system??? Last time I checked we Americans were using quarts and gallons.
