Snapped clean off at the inlet collar

Bought this GroundWork 4-way metal manifold to run multiple lines off my outdoor spigot, expecting decent durability from something advertised durable. It made it roughly five months before failing completely.
The issue is the top connector where the collar attaches to the spigot. With hoses attached, standard real-world use involves pulling a hose across the yard. The leverage and sideways tension from routine tugging caused the inlet connection to crack and break completely off, causing water to gush everywhere and rendering the splitter useless. Looking at the break point, it’s clearly made from cheap, frail plastic.
A 4-way splitter is meant to support the weight and movement of multiple hoses. If the primary connection point can't handle normal lateral stress without snapping off at the faucet, it’s fundamentally flawed. Don't waste your money—spend a little extra on a heavy-duty forged brass manifold or mount an independent leader hose to take the strain off the spigot.
