I came into tractor supply on Friday looking to purchase the $1,799 60v go kart that came with two 69v 8ah batteries and dock station. The app showed it in stock and was available for pick up that day. So I went to the store with my trailer in anticipation of buying this product. They told me that they didn’t have it available that they only had the one listed at $2,500. One was the display outside and the other one showing in stock was the wrong sku number and was also the $2,500 go Kart that was in a box in the back. They were nice and took $500 off and I just got the model that was outside to save me the hassle of putting it together. Here is where the problems come in. I was never given a manual for the go-kart and I received two 60v 5ah batteries with my purchase. The very first day of my daughter driving it, one of the batteries was showing solid red in the charging dock. I called tractor supply and they swapped out a brand new 60v 5ah battery for the one that was staying solid red. I called Greenworks and according to tsc app that go-kart should have came with two 60v 8ah batteries. Greenworks said they were out of stock and tractor supply said that I received everything for the go kart. I had them print off the manual for me because I never had a received one. I was happy the manager was nice enough to swap out the bad battery. I just want to know why I’m not getting two 60v 8ah batteries. Greenworks and Tractor supply have not given me the option to swap out the 2 60v 5ah batteries for 2 60v 8ah batteries. Something needs to be done about this because it is false advertisement. I looked up buying the batteries myself. $350 a piece and $150 for the dual charger. So another $850 to get it the power the golf cart is supposed to have?! No that’s not going to work. I’m going to return the go-kart because I don’t feel like I’m getting the product that I paid for. Plus the batteries die after about 3 to 4 miles and not the 12.5 miles as advertised. Very dissapointed in this Christmas gift for my daughter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 60v go kart around springtime. The kids have a riot on it and have already put on over 250 miles. Wish batteries were a bit cheaper but with a 90 minute charge time its not too bad.

This kart is really nice. Took me a while to assemble it but the parts are well engineered. My daughter loves it and I love how quiet it is.

We found this go-kart well-suited for our private property, given its 15 mph speed limit cap- ideal for navigating our bumpy dirt roads. A minor frustration was the complex app interface required to switch to sport mode/bluetooth. However, the incredibly quiet engine and enjoyment it provided for private use were significant positives. On the downside, just like the rest of the online reviews-the battery life was shorter than expected, even when driven under 15 mph. Additionally, the absence of a park gear is a notable safety concern, as the go-kart rolled on us. Despite these issues, it's a practical gokart for quick tasks like picking up mail at the end of the driveway or quick trips to a food stand. My two year old son had a blast though!
