[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This playset has been an unregrettable purchase for our three and two year old granddaughters! It was shipped in a timely way and assembly was reasonable, overall. We did purchase the horse and bucket swings in addition to the sling swings that come with the set. These were a great choice, particularly for the ages of our grandchildren playing on it currently (as they age/grow, we will have the swing slings for them to move into). Additionally, we chose to get several add-ons such as the clock, phones, sandbox cover, binoculars, kaleidoscope, dinner bell, chalkboard, solar wall lights (unfortunately, while they are cute, they did not work & we chose to purchase solar lights from our local home improvement store) and the babysitter swing (we are still waiting on receiving it after ordering it on 5/30/26 - we were told the machine that makes it was broken and that we would receive it sometime in July - today is 8/2/26). All of the accessories we have received have proven to be a lot of added on fun for our girls, so I would definitely recommend choosing some of those if you go with this playset. Additionally, we did opt to purchase the handles for the ladder which have proven to be very helpful for the 2 & 3 year old to safely move up and down the ladder. And, we did purchase extra handles to install inside the playset to help moving between levels and to get on the slides. We have yet to apply the clear coat to protect the wood, but have it in hand and will do so before the summer ends. This is a beautiful playset and we are sure the girls will get several years of use out of it…we all love it! I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement. First, I do feel the communication regarding unfulfilled orders could use some improvement as I have not received any other than my own, personal efforts to track down my missing babysitter swing. Secondly, the instructions for the 7’ turbo tube slide could benefit from some additional instruction/advising. Specifically, when attempting to assemble the slide, it appeared that the face plate did not fit a slide of that size, prompting us to communicate multiple times with Gorilla to presumably get the correct face plate. Gorilla did send another, but it was the same exact size - which was incredibly frustrating. A neighbor took a look at it and suggested the plastic needed to be stretched to properly install it. With two men tackling this step, they were ultimately successful in getting it to work. This is something the instructions should include, that the plastic can get warped or “shrink” which will make it appear that is will not possibly fit. If we had known this from the get go, this would not have taken us 1.5 months to get it assembled and would have saved us some understandable anxiety about the safety of the set that had a large hole where the slide was supposed to be. Finally, while the solar lights are very cute and perfectly fit this set, unfortunately, they do not work, which required us to purchase another set of lights to allow for function, as well. I’m not sure if we got duds, but this may be something to take a look at or be clear if they are simply ornamental vs. functional. Overall, this is a beautiful set and has many opportunities for activity and creative play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After an exhaustive research on Playsets, my wife and I decided on the Gorilla Playset. After assembling the playset we are both in agreement that the quality of the design and materials were better than we expected. While the assembly instructions are clear, it would have been helpful to know that depending on the (build) step, wood and fasteners might come out of two different boxes. (the boxes contain groupings of the different stages of the playset). If you have the space to lay out all of the materials based on each step that would be very helpful. Otherwise if one person can assemble and the other pull the materials for the next step it will shorten the time to build. The building process itself was easy for anyone with a basic working knowledge of tools.
