It consists of wide straps inter-woven and supported by a heavy-duty frame. Versatile, this platform swing will fit any standard swing set. The heavy-duty construction supports up to 220 lb. and up to 2 children at once.

  • A: No, but a Chill 'N Swing can be swapped out for the Trapeze in the center position on the main swing beam. It's best to remove all the swings from the swing beam and install it in the middle to give it ample room to swing. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.

  • A: We do not recommend replacing the tire swing with the Chill 'N Swing. The tire swing beam is not high enough to safely swing on the Chill 'N Swing. Thanks for the question!

  • A: Due to the width of the Chill 'N Swing and weight limit of the swing arm, we do not recommend installing the swing in place of the trapeze bar assembly. Thanks for the question!

Q: With different brackets, can this be mounted in place of where the rope ladder would go on the chateau model?

  • A: We do not recommend mounting this rope ladder support. The glider brackets need to be mounted on beams measuring between 3 in. and 4.5 in. W. The rope ladder support is only 2 in. W. Thanks for the question!

Awesome for big kids

Since I built our playset about 5 years ago, I needed to do a few updates to keep the kids outside and interested. This really hit thr mark! With a higher weight limit than the double swing, I can have my 11 year old and my 9 year old on it at the same time. I even had three nine year olds on it last weekend for hours. My 9 year, who loves to read, has been using it as a hammock. It's rock solid and looks great! Typical Gorilla playsets, over built and well priced!
