Q: I don't think you fully understood what I'm asking . I I'm asking if I pull the hose out like at 20 ft and stop will it auto lock and not retract on its own without physically moving a hose stopper to the reel. In other words does it automatically lock

- A: Thanks for the question, Larry. Yes—this hose reel does have an internal locking mechanism that allows the hose to lock in place at various lengths as you pull it out. The hose stopper you see simply sets how much hose remains hanging out when fully retracted—it doesn’t control the locking. Hope that clears things up!11 months agoHelpful?

Decent quality in the hose and reel mechanism and came with fitting. Ordered online and when opened the plastic casing was cracked and piece was broke off. Not worth hassle to return or replace. Maker needs to look for a better resin for the casing something that’s isn’t brittle, or make casing thicker.

Goodyear Air Hose Reel Arrived with damage

Reel appeared ok at first even though box was damaged in 2 places. Quick examination showed large crack damage to Reel case near attachment point. Went through returns process & dropped it off at TSC as instructed. A month later, still no credit to my account. Not happy at this point.
