The GloWear Type R Unisex Lightweight Hi-Vis Rain Jacket is designed with waterproof materials and fully taped seams for reliable protection in the face of stormy weather. Compliant to ANSI/ISEA 107, Type R Class 3, this rain jacket features reflective tape for enhanced low-light visibility. This lightweight reflective rain jacket easily fits over workwear without sacrificing mobility. Fully taped seams are bonded to the jacket to keep water from sneaking in, while a vented cape-back allows heat and moisture to escape for added breathability. It's the perfect lightweight waterproof work jacket for those working in road construction, utilities, construction, emergency response, airline, railway or survey crews.

  • Rain coat is made from lightweight 150-denier polyester oxford with PU coating
  • Fully taped and bonded seams lock out water
  • 2 lower-front pockets with snap flaps, a cell phone chest pocket and a clear ID holder
  • Concealed hood with drawstring can be stowed away when not needed
  • Vented back cape offers added breathability
  • Storm flap and snap buttons prevent water from leaking through a zipper closure
  • Adjustable hook and loop wrist cuffs for a customizable fit
  • Reflective tape adds visibility at night or in low light
  • Tested and approved ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Type R Class 3 and 3rd party certified

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't a wear-me-all-day jacket, but you could, if you needed to. It is an excellent throw-me-on-at-a-moment's-notice jacket. Long-term wear in the heat might sweat you out, but if you need to get something done in the rain without soaking to your drawers, this is a good, inexpensive option. It would be easy to roll it up and store it in a roadside emergency kit, or keep in a work locker. The Hi-viz is exactly that. HIGH visibility.
