Georgia Boot AMP LT Wedge Work Boot. Georgia Boot is no stranger to crafting quality wedge work boots. The AMP LT 6" wedge lace up boot is built with the same great SPR leather our classic wedges are known for but now includes our premium comfort insole and a high-performance outsole. The upper features combination eyelet and hook hardware, a nylon pull tab for easy on and the Counter Lock System to prevent heel slippage. The interior is unlined and contains a padded counter pocket for additional heel support and the removable AMP LT memory foam insole. The outsole package on this 6" wedge work boot is comprised of a fiberglass shank for added stability, a cushioning EVA midsole, and our proprietary Carbo-Tec rubber. This special rubber gives the outsole great resistance against heat, oil, chemicals and slips.

Great boots with a flaw

These are the most comfortable work boots I've ever had. However, there are two downsides. The insole wears out extremely fast, so be prepared to replace them. Also, I suffer from the same problem someone else did who posted pictures. The tongue on my left boot was sewn in crooked and the tongue slides to the side no matter how I lace the boots or how tight I tie them. It's super annoying and for the price of these boots, one should be able to expect the tongue to stay put.

These boots are very well-made and are very good looking. Unfortunately, I am having a hard time breaking these boots in. I had to leave work early yesterday because my feet were hurting so bad. I am having a hard time finding a work boot that I can wear all day long. These definitely were not them.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I've had a few Georgia boots and always had good luck, but these feel like they were made by a completely different process. I've had these for a year and (much like other reviewers) my two biggest complaints are the tongue that never stays in place and the SUPER slippery soles on anything but dry concrete. They are the worst soles ever. Super hard and very little traction, which on wet surface causes a lot of problems. I have fallen multiple times on hard surfaces solely because of these boots. I've thought about having a different sole installed, but the boot itself is not worth the cost of swapping out these soles.

No, I do not recommend this product.
