A really well thought out set.

A nice 1/2 dr. set! I’m really pleased with this 1/2” dr SAE set of deep sockets. It’s not that common or easy to find a set like this in 12 point, but that’s exactly what I need as an aircraft mechanic. We don’t often need that small bit of extra strength that 6 point can provide and there are lots of large 12 point bolts and fittings on aircraft. One of the best features in this set is the broaching depth. It’s not so deep that you won’t be able to use the socket to start a fastener in the smaller sizes and then it gets appropriately deeper as the sizes get larger. It’s not just a one size fits all approach. This shows how much thought was put into the design. The set comes with a blow molded case to organize the sockets, but it’s missing a lid, so it’s really best for going in a tool box drawer and not for putting in a tool bag or a road trip case. I think I will put mine on a rail to match the rest of my socket storage/ organization setup. Definitely a good value to add to my toolbox.

I love the sockets. I have the Matco 12 point sockets. I was working on 2014 fiat driver side axle my socket was too thick Luckily I had the gear wrench 12 point sockets and those sockets are real thin. It got me out of a nightmare from shaving my socket to make it thin . Thank

Great set of sockets, no complains on this set. Beth easy to read the sizes as they are etched on but large in size. The case they came in fit perfectly in my toolbox which is a plus to keep them organized and tidy. Definitely recommend.

Very Versatile Deepwell 12 pt set.

Great addition to the tool box. This set has all the standard sizes needed, plus the larger hard to find sizes. Finding a good quality 12 pt set that covers the range of sizes in this set is difficult these days. The chrome plating cleans up quickly and easily, which saves time when the job is finished. The thin wall deep well design makes these sockets excellent for tight spaces such as cylinder head bolts. Overall a very welcome addition to my toolbox.
