Solid Torque Wrench

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use and adjust torque Solid, heavy duty wrench with good grip. The only minor issue is the foam casing is cut perfectly for the wrench to fit in if it's torqued to a certain amount. If you adjust and want to put back, it doesn't fit in properly.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Coupler style torque settings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] By far the best torque wrench I have ever used the easy lock torque settings are quick to dial in and the coupler style lock keeps the settings locked in for true torque If I could change one thing it would be the tilting head I would make it a locking tilting head that would make it the best ! Great product lots of torque capability with its long handle

Yes, I recommend this product.

Quality Torque Wrench

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking a great non-digital torque wrench for a while as all of the others I have purchased and used never lived up to the claims of the makes of those wrenches. I did not want to spend the money on a high end name brand digital torque wrench, and I do not trust the inferior cheaper digital torque wrenches from companies I have never heard of. Then I was able to get this toque wrench and let me tell you, if you are looking for a superior quality click torque wrench, then this is your tool! I do almost all of the work on the 4 cars from 3 different car manufacturers in my family. I especially do all of the suspension and steering work, so correct torquing is a necessity. No "tight until it's right" when it comes to the bolts on shocks, struts, springs, control arms, sway bars, etc. In the past, I always felt uneasy with my torque values from the "cheaper" non-digital torque wrenches I had purchased. I would torque a bolt and think it was good, only to check it with a different new wrench the next time and see the previous torque amount was off by too much. I finally decided I needed a reliable and well made torque wrench and picked up the 120XP Flex Head 1/2" torque wrench from GearWrench. This is a solid tool that meets almost all my torque wrench needs. Setting the torque values is very easy, and the clicking for torque met is very pronounced in your hand and is exact. The flex head helps to get into the tighter areas, and the length provides the extra power needed for those plus 150 lbs torque values needed. The 120XP feature also helps by needing only a small amount of ratcheting to get those tighter to reach bolts torqued down correctly. I also own a GearWrench 120XP ratchet set and am very pleased with it, so I had a feeling the 120 tooth feature would work great on a large torque wrench. The only drawback of this tool is the overall size and weight of it, as it cannot reach all of those tight and out of the way bolts, but you would just use a smaller torque wrench on those anyway. It will also tire your arm and wrist if having to torque it down from an odd position or a bolt that is not pre-tightened and takes a long time to wrench to correct torque. This beast is there for the bigger suspension bolts, lug nuts, and even the smaller lower torque bolts that do not have tight access restrictions. The tool is well machined, has a great hefty feel in the hand, and the torque selector is easy to use and understand. The wrench also comes in a rugged carrying case, and has a conversion table sheet and certification of torque testing sheet included. Overall, I am happy to have this tool in my collection, and it has now become my go-to torque wrench over all the others.

Yes, I recommend this product.

An accurate & well-designed torque wrench!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We put this torque wrench to the test utilizing it in our shop working on everything from head bolt assembly on a CAT engine, various agriculture & demo pieces of equipment, new set of wheels/tires on one of our 1/2 ton parts/supply trucks and finally a front hub assembly on a 4x4 compact tractor. Overall the consensus from our team was very positive. The smoothness of the ratcheting mechanism was everyone’s favorite alongside the knurled grip and I agree. The only knock was the pivoting head. It did not remain in position with the socket and you would have to continuously reposition the ratcheting head. Just a tad annoying. Outside of that this torque wrench worked flawlessly. We did check several Torque settings with another tool to verify it’s accuracy. We were pleased to know that this tool was very accurate. Two thumbs up!

Yes, I recommend this product.
