Felimazole Thyroid Tablet is the first FDA-approved treatment for feline hyperthyroidism. While it doesn't cure the condition, felimazole does help alleviate symptoms, such as increased urination, shedding, panting and vomiting and diarrhea, helping to improve your cat's quality of life. Special Precautions

Nursing or pregnant women or women who could become pregnant should take care to use gloves when handling these tablets, or the bodily fluid or litter of any treated cat.

Side Effects

Withdraw use and seek immediate veterinary attention if any of these severe signs of an allergic reaction occur:

• Hives
• Swelling of face, tongue, or lips
• Difficulty breathing

Withdraw use and immediately speak to your veterinarian if your pet has any of the following severe adverse reactions:

• Jaundice
• Dark urine
• Loss of appetite
• Low fever
• Nausea
• Skin rash
• Peeling
• Severe blistering
• Blood in stool or urine
• Unusual weakness
• Easy bleeding or bruising
• Body aches
• Chills
• Fever

Less severe reactions could occur. In these cases, continue to administer this medication and speak with your veterinarian:

• Hair loss
• Swelling
• Nerve pain
• Joint pain
• Muscle pain
• Itching
• Vomiting
• Mild nausea
• Dizziness
• Drowsiness

Other reactions could occur. If you observe any signs of bothersome or unusual effects, speak with your veterinarian.
