My cat Sammy is almost 20 years old and can be picky. While he loves regular Fancy Feast on his favorite flavors, he loves Fancy Feast Gems added to his favorites every so often for variety.

Absolutely the worst idea ever for cat food. The glue that holds the foil on is so strong that on most of the tubs you can’t get the foil to just peel back. It ends up tearing then you have to figure out how to get it pulled back to get the food out, but even if it does pull back why make the actual tub that the food is in so heavy that you can’t squeeze the food out it’s absolutely ridiculous that the plastic is that heavy duty I mean really who decided on this somebody at Purina ought to actually push the food out I won’t ever buy it again. The cat seemed to like it, but I have noticed it’s giving two of my three cats diarrhea. I wanted to give them a little treat instead of the same old food so I thought I’d try it. What an absolute waste of my money but now I’ve cut my hand on the sharp edge of the plastic tub trying to push the food out and my hands are so sore from trying for a product that claims that you don’t need anything to get the food out? I don’t know if that’s a lie or they just screwed up, but they really need to rethink the packaging.
