Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised the Vet We had our vet out to give our goats their shots and she was going to deworm them as well until she checked their eyes. She said their eyes lids are super pink and and healthy and there was no need to deworm them and wanted to know what product we are using.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from did not work The parasites in my area (located in SC) must be immune to this because it did NOTHING to help my goats. I had to switch to a stronger dewormer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dumor Goat wormer I purchased this today. I had read the reviews of having problems with getting the goats to eat it. I fed it straight in their feed bowls and didn't have a problem with but one pregnant goat. I crumbled up an animal cookie and sprinkled over the feed. She finished up the rest of the wormer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not palatable at all. The goats would not eat it after I starved them an entire day, those that tried were spitting it out immediately. I tried mixing this with sweet feed, they sorted it out. The product may be good, if the animal eats it. Also, it takes a lot of pellets to reach the full dose, so it cannot be mixed to something else easily because it becomes more than what they can eat in one feeding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well. I am fairly new to goats. Noticed my goats had slight diarrhea. I had not modified their diet so I suspected worms were causing it. Picked this up at my local TS store in Hanover Pa. Fed according to the instructions. My goats ate the pellets straight (not mixed with any other grain). Within two days the diarrhea was gone. Product comes with an easy-to-use plastic measure. Problem solved. Thanks Tractor Supply. Hank, Dolly, Loretta, and Patsy all thank you too ;)

Can this be used for kids? We have one doeling approximately 3 weeks old, 3 bucklings approximately 10 weeks old and the other 2 are approximately 15 weeks and we have a 1.5 year old lactating for.

Asked by: MkMom13
Yes, this product is able to be used on kid goats. The dosage needs to be properly adjusted to the weight of the individual goats.

bought this today, but bag doesn't explain much. Is this a proactive product? If so, how often do I feed it to my goats. Also, how much do I give them?

Asked by: lisaf
The Dumor Goat Dewormer is to kill worms, not for prevention. So I would say it is not a proactive product. It’s listed on the bag as a single therapeutic treatment, so one use will work. It also states that it may require an additional treatment after 2-4 weeks when heavily exposed to worms.

With any product, they are only recommended for use for the specie listed on the packaging directions. So for this one, no, it is not labeled for sheep.

How much does the measuring cup hold ???

Asked by: Paul1565
1 level scoop holds approximately 4 ounces. The recommended treatment is 4 ounces per 50 pounds of body weight, so adjust accordingly for different size goats.
