The chins love this!

​It is concerning to see so many people feeding chinchillas inappropriate foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and nuts. This practice can be harmful and highlights a broader issue of irresponsible pet ownership. The availability of a product in stores does not guarantee its safety or suitability for a pet. As pet owners, it is our responsibility to conduct thorough research on our pet's specific dietary needs. ​For chinchillas, a proper diet consists primarily of hay and specially formulated pellets. While some treats are acceptable in very small quantities, they should be given sparingly. Feeding them fruits, vegetables, or nuts can lead to serious health issues due to their sensitive digestive systems.

Chinchilla are not supposed to eat fruits/veggies or seeds and this has all three …as well as added sugars it is completely the wrong diet for this animal ! If I could give this a zero star I would ,I sent my bf to the store for some pellets because his won’t ship in time and he didn’t know better and came home with this ..I’m so mad they sell this stuff in stores they should know better !
