    Good boots

    I’ve had several pairs of dublins. I’m not an equestrian but find them more comfortable and easier to don than traditional cowboy boots for ranch work. They are sturdy and give good ankle support, and if cleaned up (cow poop removed) do better for travel in cold/wet places than athletic shoes. While I prefer the style with 2 side zippers, I could not find them. The front zipper is fine. I find a pair lasts me over a year - and that’s with hard use. I don’t have “good” feet (long, narrow, bony) so am picky about footwear. These are good boots

    Uncomfortable in the heel area.

    I was very disappointed with these boots. They were extremely uncomfortable for me. Rubbed my heel. I had to return them. There was no way I could ride horse or even walk any distance in them without causing major sblisters.
