[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dremel products are so handy for restoration projects. There may be cheaper imitations, but the old adage is true – you get what you pay for. Other products never measure up to Dremel quality. I am in the process of restoring a metal Hubley airplane toy from the 1960’s. Removing rust and old paint are necessary before applying a new coat of paint. The hard-to-reach areas are no problem for the 448 Stainless steel brush set. Given the fact that the toy is sixty years old, one needs to be gentle with the metal parts and the 448 set handles the job with expertise. The Hubley P-40 will look brand new when finished.

I was running them at a lower speed so as to not take off too much material or mess up the finish on the tools. They took all the surface rust off and seemed to hold their condition compared to cheap knock offs that don't last 5 minutes. Trust me, I've bought the HF stuff and it's junk. These are so much better material and quality.
