The EZ456 includes 10 fiberglass reinforced cut-off wheels designed to last 2X longer compared to the 426. The highly-durable cut-off wheels feature a 1-1/2 In. (38.1 mm) wheel diameter and 0.045 In. (1.1mm) thick blade making it ideal to cut, groove, and trim all types of metal including hardened steel. Perfect for projects like cutting bolt heads, reslotting damaged screws, cutting sheet metal, or trimming metal rods. The cutting discs are also ideal for delicate woodworking projects and can be used on other materials including wood, plastics or ceramics. The wheels are designed with the patented EZ Lock system making accessory changes quick and easy. For use with the EZ402 EZ Lock mandrel only.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little EZ-Lock Metal Cutter blade has many uses around the home and the garage. I've cut many rusted nuts that could not be removed by loosening methods. This disc makes a quick job of cutting off the nut without ruining the bolts. Used it to reduce long bolt lengths to a required size. Also used it to remove copper plumbing in spaces where a saw is not feasible. Great for cutting single handle kitchen faucet assemblies that have rusted internally and refuse to come off. Cuts anything quickly. I've tried less expensive China import models but they don't cut as well and tend to snap. Stay with a brand you can trust.
