Dewalt took this tool to the next level by adding a locking mechanism for the hex keys at 90, 135 and 180 degrees. Game changer. No more fumbling around when your trying to tighten or loosen something.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Historically i have not been a fan of hex tools like this, preferring traditional ‘L’ or ‘T’ handle allen wrenches. However this unit was a pleasant surprise. It is well made and seems tough, not twisting under heavy application of force. Using it to replace conveyor wear strips in a logistics warehouse it held up great. The other pleasant surprise was the multi position lock. Not having to worry about the tool flopping around and being able to lock it into multiple positions to suite the situation is a great feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have ever had to use an old Allen wrench before and it keeps on moving around in your fingers, well those days are over. I love that this locks in at different degrees to be able to access what you need . The casing has a good grippy material too. A few notes for the next version. The numbers that are printed on the case for the smaller sizes, make them black to stand out to see what size it is. And the other is to make the 4mm more accessible.

Locking in multiple different positions was a great feature that allowed me to optimize the torque on the screws I was installing. This is really handy to have in your everyday work bag or just in the tool chest at home.
