Years ago I used to buy dead down wind and love it. I got caught in the middle of herds of elk and was within 5 yards of whitetail and never got winded. But since then the ingredients have changed drastically and by my experience it is a waste of money.

Bought this stuff in a pinch because my preferred scent killer was out of stock at my local store. It was opening day and I sprayed this stuff on all my hunting gear. After spraying, all of my clothes/gear smelled like flowers/oranges. I couldn’t believe it. I looked on the bottle ingredients and the last ingredient said “fragrance”. That’s just exactly what deer hunters are looking for in a “scent killer” is getting to smell like bath and body works before they head out to the woods. It’s was so strong my wife noticed it and told me I smelled good.

I use this product year round. It’s help me keep my scent out of my sensitive hunting area.

I love the original and was excited to try the new black formula. Sprayed it my gear and could not believe what I was smelling. It smells like chemicals mixed with flowers. I looked on the bottle and seen the last ingredient was fragrance. This literally goes against everything a scent killing product should be. Even my wife could smell it and said how's that any better than laundry detergent.
