This Daytek Fold-Down Clothesline is fantastic. The mechanism operates easily as well. 2 reasons for a 4-star rating. 1) Instructions for installing the clothesline were a bit vague but I managed to install it correctly the first time. 2) No fasteners (wall anchors) were included. A big omission. On the positive side, there was an easy-to-use template for drilling the holes for the wall mounting brackets.

Clever idea from Australia

We used this style of clothesline when we were in Australia and really loved it. It holds so much and folds flat when it is not needed. I am a small person and have no problem raising and lowering it. It was very exciting to see that Tractor Supply sells it. It got put up the day we got it.

I put this directly on the side of my house. It called for 5/16 screws, but I couldn’t find them near me so I used 1/4 and so far it’s okay. It came with everything for setup except the screws to mount. It was super easy to put up and I love that it folds down when not in use. I was able to fit 2 loads of laundry on it and it held great.
